Rebranding services, with the analysis behind them.
Corporate rebranding and executive rebranding, delivered as a structured SWOT analysis and the positioning direction that follows from it. Two levels: the company as a whole, and the CXO who fronts it.
Company rebranding and executive rebranding.
Most rebranding services hand you a direction and ask you to trust it. ElevateX runs the SWOT analysis first, so the positioning that follows can be argued for in front of a board, an investor, or a team that has to live with it.
CXO Rebranding & SWOT Analysis
Executive-level positioning. Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats assessed for the individual leader, and a rebranding direction built on what that analysis shows.
Company Rebranding & SWOT Analysis
The same treatment at organisation level. How the company is currently positioned, where it is exposed, and what the rebrand should therefore say.
Rebrands we take on.
The method does not change with company size. What changes is the question the analysis has to answer.
Corporate rebranding
Established companies whose positioning has drifted from what the business actually does now — after a pivot, a merger, or a decade of adding services one at a time.
Startup and small business branding
Founders deciding which category they are competing in before the identity work starts, so the brand does not have to be rebuilt again in eighteen months.
Personal branding for founders and CXOs
Executives whose public profile no longer matches the company they run, or the role they are moving into. Assessed on its own terms, not as a footnote to the company brand.
The rebranding process, in four stages.
Gather
Inputs on how the executive or the company is currently seen, positioned and described.
Analyse
A structured SWOT — strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats — rather than a list of adjectives.
Position
A rebranding direction that follows from the analysis, with the reasoning attached to each recommendation.
Deliver
The analysis and the positioning together, so the decision can be reviewed by people who were not in the room.
What the rebranding service delivers.
Executive SWOT analysis
A structured assessment of a CXO profile — how it currently reads, and where it is strong or exposed.
Company SWOT analysis
The same assessment applied to the organisation, covering positioning rather than personality.
CXO rebranding direction
Positioning for the individual leader, derived from the executive analysis rather than from preference.
Company rebranding direction
Organisation-level positioning, with each recommendation traceable back to something in the analysis.
Where this ends, and who picks it up.
Rebranding services differ widely in what they include. This is what is in scope here, and what is handled as a separate engagement.
In scope
- SWOT analysis at executive level, company level, or both.
- The rebranding direction that follows from it, with the reasoning attached to each recommendation.
- Written up so the decision can be reviewed by people who were not in the room.
Separate engagements
Visual identity — logo, colour palette, typography, brand guidelines — is quoted separately, as is rolling a new position out across social and content. Both are available here: see logo design and brand identity add-ons.
Rebranding services, answered.
What is the difference between the CXO and company analysis?
One assesses how an individual leader is positioned and perceived; the other does the same for the organisation. They are related but they are not the same exercise, and ElevateX runs each properly.
Is this a logo and visual identity exercise?
No. ElevateX produces the analysis and the positioning that should sit underneath a rebrand. Visual identity work is a separate engagement and is priced separately.
Why lead with SWOT?
Because a rebrand that cannot point to a weakness it addresses or an opportunity it takes is a preference, not a strategy. The analysis is what makes the direction reviewable.
Can we run only one of the two?
Yes. The executive and company analyses stand on their own, though they are more useful read together.
How is this different from a rebranding agency?
A rebranding agency normally sells the identity work, with strategy as the preamble to it. Here the analysis is the deliverable, and the identity work is a separate engagement you can run with us or with anyone else.
Do you work with startups and small businesses?
Yes. Scope follows how much there is to analyse, not headcount. A founder rebranding ahead of a raise and a fifteen-year-old company after a merger get the same method at different depths.
